what do i do with my days now? besides the usual work, eat, shit, sleep day… i’ve been consumed with video games. last week i got an xbox360 (hence the lack of updates:)). i just signed my life away with this purchase. all i do is play halo and guitar hero. this is terrible…or really awesome.
i say awesome.
i’ve always been big on fps games since the days of doom and quake. i didnt really get obsessed with killing until goldeneye for n64. yeah u know what i’m talking about. then came the days of quake. i spent a good chunk of my adolescence behind a mouse and keyboard play q3a, cs and basically any other 3dfps. after all those years of playing… i still do enjoy a game of source now and again. but one thing about me which you’ll grow to love… i hate console fps.
how the fuck do you aim with a fucking joystick?! if i want to turn around quickly to see who’s shooting me, all i should have to do is flick my wrist and mouse over. i shouldnt have to wait for the damn joystick to move my player’s head on its own time. that’s precious killing time!!
do you realize how deep this obsession goes?
…and yet i still play halo into the wee hours of the night.
